Anyone who has followed the NFL this season is keenly aware that the Green Bay Packers, and their quarterback, have been fantastic at home this season. On the road, however, it is something of a different story. Now, if they hope to get back to the Super Bowl, they are going to have to do it in one of the most hostile environments anywhere. On Sunday, they will look to overcome the NFL betting odds as underdogs to the Seattle Seahawks, as the NFC title game kicks off at 3:05 PM ET at CenturyLink Field. The Packers had the benefit of their home field last weekend, as they beat Dallas 26-21 behind 316 yards passing by a limping Aaron Rodgers and a very controversial call by the officials on an apparent catch by Dez Bryant which would have helped the Cowboys forge ahead. The Packers have not lost a game at home all year, and no quarterback could possibly do better than Rodgers did at Lambeau Field. He threw for 28 touchdowns without an interception, with a rating of 133.2. However, things were a little different for Green Bay on the road, where they compiled just a 4-4 straight-up mark and went just 2-5-1 against the football pointspread. Rodgers is pretty good, wherever he goes, at least usually, but his QB rating away from home was just 94.2, with 13 TD passes and five interceptions. He had a few subpar outings when facing tough defenses on the road, namely against Buffalo, and of course, against these Seahawks, who beat the Packers 36-16 on the season’s opening night.

And while we’re at it, we should recognize that Wilson has thrown nine TD passes with just one interception in compiling a 5-0-1 ATS record in post-season action.
