There wasn’t a whole lot of activity on the part of most NBA teams before the trade deadline, but a few of the clubs who have found themselves some poison in the locker room have tried to get rid of some of it. Was there anything that was going to change the balance of power, or create a new contender for heavyweights like Golden State, San Antonio or Cleveland? The Suns got guys who won’t make a whole lot of difference in Dejuan Blair and Kris Humphries, but they will have less misery in what is such a miserable season that Phoenix is trying like hell to avoid sinking below the Los Angeles Lakers, who are more or less taking a dive this season.

Randy Foye might not have been particularly unhappy beforehand, but he was not pleased to hear about his trade from the Denver Nuggets to the Oklahoma City Thunder from a report on the NBA app on his smartphone.
