The Golden State Warriors have been nothing short of brilliant this season. They take the best record in the NBA out of the All-Star break, and have looked very much like a team that could go all the way. Mark Jackson, who coached this team last year, must be eating his heart out. He was, of course, fired after the season, as management perceived that he had underachieved in the post-season, and so far they look like they were right in that assessment. Steve Kerr, a former player, team executive, and color commentator, has taken essentially the same collection of players and turn them into a serious contender for NBA laurels.
Of course, what Vietbet customers may not realize was that the aforementioned Jackson was making some political moves of his own, taking on the same agent as Lebron James, presumably in an effort to be the guy in waiting, so to speak, if the players and Cleveland were successful in getting David Blatt fired as head coach. All of that remains to be seen. But as it stands right now, Jackson, in his role as an ESPN commentator, has to sit back and watch a team he put together mount a serious challenge for world championship.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are, in the opinion of many, the NBA’s best backcourt. But they probably were before. What has really distinguished this Golden State team from others in the recent past, producing a 42-9 straight-up record, which has translated to a sizzling 31-18-2 against the NBA betting odds, is the fact that they are playing very good defense; in fact, this team leads the league in opponents’ shooting percentage and defensive efficiency. They are also hitting the boards, and a key player who doesn’t get a lot of attention is Marreese Speights, who has emerged as one of the best role players in the league.

Still, Golden State is justifiably the favorite. There is a nice ensemble of players they have put together, but there is also very fragile nature to Golden State’s status at the moment, because it is critical that people like David Lee and Andrew Bogut (who leads the league in Defensive Rating) remain healthy. Those are the guys who can both rebound and be useful on the offensive end. When they are available, the Warriors are deep and balanced. Yes, they can take it all the way to the finish line.
