After a loss against New England in the opener, the Arizona Cardinals needed to bounce back strong last week, and they did, as they flummoxed Tampa Bay quarterback James Winston and destroyed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now they come back again this week, having to travel East to face a team that might be in a little bit of turmoil at the moment. The Buffalo Bills made a change on their staff this week, and Rex Ryan just might be on the hot seat. This game is scheduled for 1 PM ET at New Era Field in Orchard Park, NY, and VietBet customers will get to place wagers on the game in real time using the state-of-the-art software available through Live Betting Ultra.

A Closer Look at the Buffalo Bills:
- Season record: 0-2 SU,0-2 ATS
- Buffalo is 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games
- Buffalo is 2-4 SU in their last 6 games
- The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Buffalo’s last 6 games
Yes, there are some strange things going on around the Buffalo camp. They lost 37-31 to the New York Jets a week ago Thursday, and then they fired the offensive coordinator, Greg Roman, the next day. Truth be told, the Bills’ attack was extremely inconsistent, and aside from a couple of long touchdown throws by Tyrod Taylor, they did not get a lot going for themselves. So far, Buffalo has amassed only 27 first downs. And on top of that, Ryan needed a scapegoat. There still exists some question as to whether ownership ordered the firing.
It is expected that Anthony Lynn, who was elevated to the position of offensive coordinator after serving as assistant head coach and running backs coach, will go to the ground game a lot more. That means more work for DeSean McCoy, who has averaged 3.8 yards per carry in this season. There is also been some question as to whether Roman was doing a good job aiding in the development of Taylor, who throws errant passes far too often.
Truth be told, however, the Buffalo defense has been the real failure. When Ryan took over last season, the Bills were coming off a season in which they were ranked #1 in the league in sacks and fourth overall. Those numbers really dropped last year, as they were 19th in the NFL in yardage allowed, and 31st in sacking the quarterback. Players have simply had a hard time adjusting to Ryan system, which changed the defense from a 4-3 to a 3-4. That makes a big difference if you’re on the defensive line.
Buffalo is only converting 26% on third down this season, and Sammy Watkins, who would be a very key figure in those situations, caught six passes last time out but is still not 100% in the wake of his foot injury.
A Closer Look at the Arizona Cardinals:
- Season record: 1-1 SU,1-1 ATS
- Arizona is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games
- Arizona is 11-3 SU in their last 14 games
- The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Arizona’s last 10 games
Carson Palmer has come through the first two games with five touchdown passes without an interception. What might be a factor here is the travel, as the Cardinals are coming a long way to play in an early Sunday game.
Arizona got four interceptions of Winston, including two that were brought back for touchdowns. As the Cardinals led 24-0 at the half, the game was effectively over at that point. David Johnson, the fantasy darling, had 98 yards receiving, and he is not even the guy who is going to give the Buffalo secondary headaches this week. Arizona has some big receivers, just like the New York Jets had (Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker), and Ryan Fitzpatrick riddled the Bills’ stop unit for 374 yards passing in the Thursday night game. Previously he had been stopped cold by Rex Ryan’s defenses, whether with Buffalo or in his previous stint in New York.
