Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins – CJ’s Take:

The turnaround by Buffalo may have happened as a result of the dismissal of offensive coordinator Greg Roman, who was let go after a loss to the New York Jets, where oddly, it was the Bills’ defense that didn’t perform. But the idea was to simplify things under the new coordinator, Anthony Lynn, and there have been results. The Bills have really become a power team, and with Shady McCoy’s 140 rushing yards last week, he is now second in the league with 587 total.

FRIDAY 10/21 1:00pm ET UPDATE: LeSean McCoy (hamstring) gets the Questionable tag, game time call. May not play or have reduced role.

The Dolphins are coming off their most impressive game in about a year, as they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-15, dominating the line of scrimmage in the process. Miami had 222 yards on the ground, and they may have found a featured back in Jay Ajayi, who had 204. And on top of that, Ryan Tannehill had his first “clean” game is a pro, with no sacks and no turnovers.

One of the big factors in Miami’s victory last week was the fact that they had a healthy offensive line. Two weeks ago, they were missing left tackle Branden Albert and left guard Laremy Tunsil, and they allowed Tannehill to get sacked six times, without putting together any kind of a running game. When those two guys got back into the lineup, and it made a world of difference. So now Miami has Ajayi, who leads the NFL in average per carry, with 5.7. And Arian Foster is back and available as well.

VietBet patrons know that the Bills have had the upper hand in this series, covering five of the last six meetings, and they were utterly dominant over the Dolphins last season, winning by scores of 41-14 and 33-17.

Rex Ryan will likely stack up to stop the run here first, and dare Tannehill to beat them with his arm. If Miami has to go almost exclusively through the air, they are in trouble. And Buffalo will make it tough to score, if and when the Dolphins get down close; their defense has allowed opponents to score touchdowns only 33% of the time in the red zone, and that is the best figure in the National Football League.
