Apparently the Cleveland Cavaliers had better prepare for war when they meet up with the Golden State Warriors.
LeBron James laid the gauntlet with a Halloween prank that did not leave some of the team’s stars very amused.
Apparently James hosts an annual costume party, and he rigged up a fake band to play at this one. The name? 3-1 Lead, which, as VietBet customers no doubt recall, refers to that which the Warriors blew in last year’s NBA Finals.

But it didn’t stop there. LeBron also had cookies on display that were shaped like tombstones of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the famed “Splash Brothers.”
While Curry mentioned that he was just going to be keep quiet about James’ mocking gesture, Draymond Green essentially says he has enough motivation for any confrontation with King James. “I already got enough fuel. I don’t need more.”
Green had previously told an ESPN reporter,” I want to destroy Cleveland. No ifs, ands and buts about it. But I also know that there’s steps to get to that point. And if and when we get to that point, I want to annihilate them.”
Reserve guard Shaun Livingston said, “…..it just fuels everybody for the next time we play them….. It is what it is. All it is is more fuel for the fire. That’s it.”
Kevin Durant suffered his own blown 3-1 lead last season, although it was under different circumstances, as he was with the Oklahoma City Thunder and it was against the guys who are his teammates now. Still, he’s feels the Warriors’ anger, even if they are not all expressing it outwardly. “I wasn’t here last year but I obviously know from being on the team, you don’t want to see nothing like that,” he says.

As we spoke about at the season’s outset, the Warriors are going to go through a period of adjustment as they learn how to play with each other, and those who suspected they would break even their own incredible mark of 73 victories last season were dangerously ignorant of the kind of dynamic that is required to play at a superior level of team basketball.
This really isn’t a big surprise to head coach Steve Kerr, or at least it shouldn’t be. After a win over Phoenix, he said, “While we’re going through this early part of the season sorting through rotations and offensively trying to get going, we just have to compete and pick up our share of wins and we’ll find our stride eventually.”
